Hurrianes & Tornadoes

Hurricanes and tornadoes are very dangerous. They can cause a lot of damage and death. The table shows us some features of hurricanes and tornadoes. In this essay, I am going to talk about these features.

First, the minimum hurricane speed is 74 mph while the maximum is 200 mph. On the other hand, the tornadoes minimum speed is 40 mph while the maximum is 300 mph. The classification scale shows us that hurricanes are measured on the Saffer-Simpson C1-C5 while tornadoes are measured on the Fujita F0-F5 scale. When a hurricane occurs, it stays about 1 week. In contrast to tornadoes which just last a few minutes, some up to a few hours. The average width of hurricane is about 300 miles while the tornadoes’ maximum width is 1.5 km. the average number of hurricanes per year is very high compared with tornadoes. The hurricanes can be predicted 2-3 days in advance and sometimes 6-10 hours while the tornadoes only 20 minutes or less in advance. Hurricanes usually start over warm oceans like Hurricane Katrina while tornadoes start over land.

In conclusion, hurricanes are more dangerous than tornadoes because of their duration and width and they can cause a lot of damage.

We are all students at Abu Dhabi Men's College.

We have to be in the classroom on time.

Physics and chemistry lessons take place in a laboratory.

There are no healthy food outlets in our canteen/cafeteria.

I read books and magazines and also do IELTS practice in our college library, which is large and well-stocked.

Student services organise activities for us.

The academic office performs many administrative tasks, such as issuing ID cards and arranging exam schedules.

There is a special learning centre in our library, called the Active Learning Zone, to provide students with extra help with their English.

Conferences and large meetings are often held in the college auditorium, which is also where we do our progress tests.

Leading car models

We can use this table to know the specification of four leading car models. In this essay, I am going to describe the four cars' details.

First, the Toyota Corolla came in the first rank. It is made in Japan and it costs $15,500. Its engine size is 1400cc. On the other hand, the Nissan Micra which is also made in Japan took the last rank although it is a little bit cheaper than the Toyota Corolla. Its engine size is just 1200cc which is the lowest. The Nissan Micra consumes the lowest percentage of fuel; it does about 52 miles per gallon while the Toyota Corolla does 48 miles per gallon. The Volkswagen Golf with an engine size of 1600cc costs about $18,250. It is produced in Germany and it consumes the most fuel, 40 miles per gallon. Finally, the Ford Focus engine size is similar to the Toyota Corolla. It does 50 miles per gallon. The American car costs $15,800.

In conclusion, we can see that Japan produced the most economical cars and the highest percentage of sales. The Volkswagen Golf is the most expensive while the Nissan Micra is the cheapest.
